Welcome to our cat adoption page – Thank you for adopting and saving a life!

Please note that all of our cats, if any, are in foster homes!
We do not have a safe space for kitties at our shelter as we are under 600 square feet! If you would like to see Regional have a permanent safe space for cats, please consider a donation to our building fund! If you are willing to foster a kitten, cat, or nursing mom, please contact us!
Adopting from Regional Animal Shelter is an easy process which will help you find the cat that is perfect for you and your family. It involves finding out a little about you and your home, visiting with the cats and talking with one of the animal shelter professionals. After you have met and decided which amazing animal you would like to adopt, we will ask that you fill out an application. Applications are available at the shelter or with our fosters; they must be completed in full and returned to the shelter office. If you are unable to make it to the shelter, please contact us and we will send you an application.
From there you can expect:.
- You will be called for an interview and a home visit will be scheduled at that time.
- If you currently own other pets you will also need to schedule a meet and greet between the animals. This will ensure that your family members will all get along with your new addition.
The adoption fee is $125 for a cat, or $175 for a bonded pair. The adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, microchip, FIV/FeLV testing, Rabies vaccination, distemper shots, worming, nail trim and flea treatment (if necessary). Kittens are able to go home once they are 10 weeks of age. Payment can be made by cash or check only and is due prior to or at the time of adoption.
